Capability 04

Finishes That Belong in the Story.

Scenic and industrial finish support for attraction surfaces, guest areas, mock-ups, props, and specialty installations.

Faux wood-grain finish applied to a mockup panel for client review

In practice

Every finish starts from a sample or mock-up your team signs off on, then gets reproduced consistently across the field.

Scope

What we support

Scenic scope runs from raw protective coating to detail work that has to disappear into the surrounding story.

01

Scenic & industrial paint

Coatings selected for an operating environment first and appearance second — then made to look right.

  • Scenic paint on show surfaces, sets, and guest-facing elements
  • Industrial painting on structure, equipment, and enclosures
  • Rust and corrosion mitigation followed by finish restoration
  • Maintenance bay floor coatings
  • Speaker, camera, and component paint to blend hardware into a scene

02

Faux finishes & textures

Surface treatments matched to a signed-off sample and repeated across the run.

  • Wood grain, stone, concrete, and metal faux finishes
  • Aging, distressing, and weathering passes
  • Applied textures and decorative finishes
  • Sample panels and finish mock-ups for approval

03

Signs, figures & props

Discrete pieces that get finished in the shop and installed as a set.

  • Figure and prop finishing
  • Hand-painted signage and graphic work
  • Seasonal prop finishing, install, strike, and return
  • Artificial foliage installation

04

Themed installation support

Finish work tied to a physical install rather than a paint scope alone.

  • Themed construction fencing, wraps, and temporary treatments
  • Scrim and duvetyne installation and removal
  • Scenic wall boards and panel systems
  • Field touch-up after installation and punch

Process

How a finish gets approved

Nothing goes to the field before a sample exists.

  1. 01

    Reference and intent

We work from your reference, art direction, or the existing surface being matched.

  2. 02

    Sample or mock-up

A panel or mock-up is produced for review, adjusted, and signed off before production.

  3. 03

    Substrate prep

Prep, protection, and masking planned around adjacent operations and guest areas.

  4. 04

    Production pass

The approved sample is reproduced consistently by the same crew across the run.

  5. 05

    Field touch-up

Handling damage and punch items corrected after install, not before.

Where our scope ends

  • Finish samples are approved by the client before production; we do not substitute a finish without approval.
  • Before-and-after comparisons are published only when both images document the same verified work.
  • Coating specifications supplied by the owner or vendor govern the material used.

Built for

  • Art directors and creative leads needing field-consistent finishes
  • Fabricators sending raw goods that must be finished on site
  • Owners refreshing existing themed environments

Scenic

Bring the reference. We will build the sample.

Tell us the surface, the environment, and the look you have to match. Approval starts with a physical panel.
